Nature and gardening as one
We are ethical and green landscape gardeners based in Leeds. We excel at creating habitat-rich gardens and offer a wide range of services. We support community led planting, work with schools and offer a design and plant service.
Do you have a boggy waterlogged garden in winter? Let the Bluebirds drain it by creating a beautifully planted run-off marshland area!

Design

Maintenance
We are an experienced team with knowledge of both domestic and wild flowers. We use no pesticides or chemical fertilisers or weed killers, and are steadily replacing our petrol-powered machinery with electric
- Hedge-trimming is scheduled to not disrupt nesting season
- Lawn care involves aeration and organic feeds, to encourage the grass to outgrow the moss
- Clover, daisies, birdsfoot trefoil and self-heal are welcomed in our lawns
- Extending flowering period of perennials through dead-heading

Education
Bluebird Inspire works with schools, communities and individual clients to educate and inspire in all facets of nature. We will carry out a survey of your space and help you to create a beautiful, attractive and inspirational environment for all beings.
- Working alongside you we will advise on planting and layout
- We will help you understand the timetabling of gardening tasks; when and how to prune, what is a weed?
- Confidence-building for the uncertain gardener

Sustainable and Green
Our passion is traditional gardening with a focus on wildlife. We can help you to garden your space in the most environmentally thoughtful way
- Rainwater harvesting – we can advise, source and fit rainwater butts
- Compost – repurpose garden waste to create a natural feed for your soil which will see all your plants thrive
- Mulch – reduce the need for watering and weeding

Inspire
Bluebird Inspire is a CIC, not-for-profit arm of Bluebird Gardening where our focus is about the wider picture. We are experienced in organising volunteer action days and devising and carrying out research projects. Our ethos is not only about connecting gardens to the wider environment, but also about connecting people to each other and the world around them
